Account & Data Deletion
You can permanently delete your Spotter account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to request deletion and what happens to your data.
1. How to Delete Your Account
The fastest way to delete your account is directly inside the Spotter app:
- Open the Spotter app.
- Go to Settings (bottom navigation bar).
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the action when prompted.
Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately upon confirmation.
2. Request Deletion by Email
If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us at:

Please include the email address associated with your Spotter account. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days.
3. What Data Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Account information (email address, name, date of birth, gender)
- Fitness profile (goal, experience level, weekly frequency)
- All training programs and workout plans
- Exercise logs (sets, reps, weight, rest times) and workout summaries
- Body weight entries
- Custom exercises you created
4. What Data Is Retained
We do not retain any personal data after account deletion. Anonymised, aggregated statistics that cannot be linked back to any individual may be kept for product improvement purposes.
Deletion from Firebase Authentication (our identity provider) is also triggered immediately upon account deletion.
5. Retention Period
All personal data is deleted within 30 days of your deletion request. In practice, deletion via the in-app option is immediate.
